INTRODUCTION

MEAN WELL has been the industry leader of LED lighting drivers and smart lighting applications for decades. The PWM series of constant voltage dimmable LED drivers are well-received by the market. To further enrich the constant voltage dimming/color tuning LED driver product portfolio, MEAN WELL is proud to introduce the SPWM series, which complement the existing PWM series.

The SPWM-75/150/240 series features a light gray elongated plastic housing and terminal-style interfaces. The products allow flexible configuration of dimming, color temperature adjustment, and color tuning, achieving multi-functionality in a single unit.
We are launching the 3-in-1 dimming and DALI-2 dimming/color tuning options now; the KNX/Matter dimming/color tuning models are coming soon.

NSP-Series: 75W~2400W AC-DC High-Reliability Compact Size with PFC Enclosed Type Power  

INTRODUCTION

The MEAN WELL RSP-Series has been on the market for over 10 years, earning widespread acclaim with cumulative sales exceeding 10 million units. These products have been widely used in industrial control, communication equipment, architectural lighting, security, and fire protection applications. To meet the growing demand for miniaturization and high efficiency, MEAN WELL is now introducing the new NSP-Series.

The all-new NSP series fully surpasses the RSP series with a higher cost-performance ratio: Its dimensions are significantly reduced, and the operating temperature range is expanded to -40~+85℃, with full load operation possible up to +60℃, making it suitable for harsher environments. At the same time, it has obtained safety certifications in multiple industries, including ICT, industrial, medical, household, and green energy applications, ensuring durability and reliability. XDR-E Series: 75W~960W 1Ø Input Ultra Slim & Cost-Effective DIN Rail Power Supply

 

INTRODUCTION

The MEAN WELL SDR/NDR/EDR series (75W~960W) has been on the market for over a decade, earning widespread recognition with cumulative sales reaching nearly 100 million units. These power supplies are widely used in industrial automation, power facilities, renewable energy equipment, network switches, and semiconductor processing equipment, among others. To offer an even greater value option, we are excited to introduce the all-new XDR-E Series (75W/120W/150W/240W/480W/960W).

The XDR-E series stands out for its exceptional balance of performance and value! Compared to the previous SDR/NDR/EDR series, the XDR-E features a significantly reduced size—23% to 45% smaller (depending on the model). It also offers a more complete product lineup, addressing the market gap for 240W/480W 12V models while expanding the entire series to include 36V options. With improved efficiency of up to 96%, a wider operating temperature range of -40 to +70℃, and compliance with more international regulations across various industries, the XDR-E series delivers superior performance at a more competitive price – helping to reduce overall system costs.

N78xx-2 Series: 2A Miniaturized High Efficiency DC-DC Switching Regulator

INTRODUCTION

After the launch of the 1A non-isolated miniaturized high efficiency DC-DC switching regulator N78xx series, MEAN WELL has introduced a new 2A model, the N78xx-2 series. This new series is designed to be fully pin-compatible with the traditional TO-220 packaged 78xx and 79xx linear voltage regulators, facilitating direct replacement. The key benefits of the N78xx-2 series include an efficiency of up to 96% and eliminating the need for additional heatsinking, which simplifies heat management for system designers.
It is particularly well-suited for integration into various electronic instruments, power supplies, and distributed circuit systems.

CSP-3000 Series: 3000W High Output Voltage Power Supply

INTRODUCTION

As a response to the increasing demands for high voltage applications, MEAN WELL is expanding our high-power enclosed types from low voltage to high voltage output, therefore releasing the brand new 3000W high output voltage power supply, CSP-3000. This is MEAN WELL’s first high voltage output product, and there are not many similar products on the market. Many customers expressed great interest during the development phase. This unique product will surely attract attention from many different industries once released.

CSP-3000’s most important feature is providing 120V/250V/400VDC high voltage output. Combined with constant current limit set at 100% output, this product series is very suitable for laser, UV curing, and charging equipment. Other key features include programmable voltage/current (PV/PC), which allows the output voltage and current to be adjusted over a wide range by applying an external DC voltage signal. High frequency modulation can also be achieved by applying an external 10V PWM signal between 500Hz~1kHz. Functions such as active current sharing (up to 3 units), remote ON/OFF, and auxiliary power greatly improves the end system design flexibility and application range, making the CSP-3000 suitable for communication equipment and centralized systems that require high power and high voltage.

LOP-Seies: 400W/500W/600W 5″ x 3″ – Ultra Low Profile PCB Type Power Supply

MEAN WELL ultra slim PCB type power supply: LOP family, has just released the LOP-200/300 series
that features a compact size of 4″ x 2″ and power ratings of 200W/300W. Following this, MEAN
WELL is now introducing the LOP-400/500/600 series with 5″ x 3″ dimensions and power ratings of
400W/500W/600W. This family offers a range of high reliability, high quality, high efficiency, and
safety oriented built in PCB type power supplies with excellent EMC performance. They are suitable
for use in Class I or II systems, providing a high performance and cost-effective solution for various
electronic instruments and devices.

NTN-5K – Series: 5KW Off-Grid Industrial Grade 2-in-1 Charging Inverter

After the successful launch of the NTS/NTU series 250~3200W off-grid DC-AC unidirectional
inverters, which received rave reviews with thousands sold annually, in order to meet higher
wattage demands, expansion was made to cater to broader applications with the introduction of
the single unit 5KW off-grid true sine wave inverter with a built-in charging function — NTN-5K
Series.
This series is an all-in-one unit that integrates AC-DC charging, DC-AC inversion, and AC bypass.
It also supports external solar panels and MPPT chargers. The main features include five key
highlights:
1. Built-in high-power 4520W AC-DC charger with fast charging capability
2. Adopts a modular design with 5KW single machine module, allowing flexible parallel
connection of AC outputs up to 30KW (1+5 units), with highly flexible wattage expansion
3. The chassis is designed in a 2U high cabinet style for easy installation and quick assembly when
mounted in a standard 19″ rack
4. Uses 3 NTN-5K single-phase AC outputs, which can be combined for 3Ø4W AC output use
5. Provides a comprehensive monitoring platform CMU2E, CM2E-R
In addition, MEAN WELL can provide a one-stop service for peripheral components such as
batteries, 19-inch rack cabinets, fans, etc., in addition to selling the NTN-5K inverter. This allows
end-system designers to quickly build a small-scale energy storage uninterrupted power backup
system, mobile charging, mobile power station, and more.

VFD Series: 150W~750W Industrial Brushless DC Motor Controller and Driver

In response to global warming and climate change, the net-zero emissions and energy-saving indicators for electricity usage have become an urgent priority for governments and businesses worldwide. According to statistics from the International Energy Agency (IEA), the global share of electricity and energy usage in motor-related equipment is as high as 46%, far surpassing lighting at 19%. This indicates that international motor energy-saving standards have gained significant international recognition. Compared to traditional induction motors, the Brushless DC Motors (BLDC) offer advantages such as high efficiency, small size, lightweight, long lifespan, quiet operation, and easy control. Leveraging its benefits of variable frequency control, they are rapidly being prioritized by end-product system manufacturers as the optimal solution for achieving effective energy savings by replacing traditional motors.

As the SDG Group and global standard-bearer in the power industry, MEAN WELL has launched a new product line: „VFD Series, the Industrial Brushless DC Motor Variable Frequency Drive“ after conducting three years of market and industry research along with technological innovation trends. This series includes eight models, covering both DC and AC input voltages, as well as two types of PCB board and enclosed semi-glue machine shell formats. The units come with built-in PFC (only for AC input models) ranging from 150 to 750W, along with standard control and sensor signals, enabling motor speed and braking settings and programming with an external control card.
